Information Technology

The Department of Information Technology was established in 2000 with an initial B.Tech intake of 40 students. Over time, this intake increased to 60 students, and lateral entry students were accommodated at the entry level of the 3rd semester. In 2014, the department received affiliation for an M.Tech program.

The department has consistently produced quality engineers, carefully nurtured and guided by experienced and committed faculty members. We continually strive to maintain an excellent academic environment, encouraging students to acquire technical knowledge to address real-world problems and engage in research.

The department is dedicated to providing robust infrastructural facilities and follows an outcome-based teaching-learning process. Students are also motivated to participate in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, including sports, cultural, and social events.

Our IT graduates regularly demonstrate their excellence in prestigious companies, and many pursue higher studies and research at premier institutions in India and abroad. The achievements and professional success of our students make the department proud and inspire current students to set high goals for their futures.

Welcome to the Department of Information Technology, the NBA Accredited Department.
