The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, established the “MIC” (MHRD Innovation Council) to promote the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in various HEIs (Higher Education Institutes) around the country. Under this strategy, HEIs will have their IICs (Institute innovation Council), which will co-ordinate with the National Start-up Policy, Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) and the E-Cell of the Institute, to create an innovation promotion ecosystem. Working on new ideas and transforming them into prototypes will be its primary focus.
